Montville Christmas Carols
A Montville family Christmas celebration featuring the Salvation Army Band, the Christmas Story, and all the greatly loved carols. Join family and friends from the Montville community in this joyous Christmas celebration.
Australia Day Ceremony and Breakfast
Includes the announcement of the MVA's Australia Day Citizen of the Year.
Ecumenical Easter Service
This dawn service is celebrated on Easter Sunday at the George Carpenter Place in front of the Razorback/Montville Memorial at 6.00am.
Anzac Day Dawn Service
The Dawn service is held in front of the Memorial gates at the Village Hall. All are welcome.
SPECIAL EVENTS 2010
Black Tie Dinner – Saturday 8th May
An event held in partnership with the Montville Chamber of Commerce. Tickets from Montville Pharmacy.
A Community Expo – Saturday 5th June (to be confirmed)
An opportunity for not-for-profit community groups to inform members of the Montville community of their services and networks by way of "information booth" stalls.
Rock Quiz – Saturday 24th July
This event, an evening of fun and mayhem, returns by popular demand.
Women In Art Exhibition - Friday 30th July to Sunday 1st August
Open 10am to 4pm at Montville Village Hall, this 3-day exhibition showcasing the creative talents of the women & girls of the Blackall Range & environs is presented by the Zonta Club of Blackall Range.
A Heritage and History Expo – Saturday 7th August (to be confirmed)
Guest speakers will highlight the history of Montville and track the Heritage Listing of the Halls and their immediate precinct, the development of a Management Plan, and the ramifications of these on future developments.
